The church as an institution has stood for 2000 years, throughout its history their have been ups and downs and trials and tribulations. Yet people often misunderstand what the real church is, it's not a building or an organisation or a set of rules, it is a body of believers. In other words, church is people.
With this in mind the church should look to interact with people and those around. As opposed to being an 'institution' that people think is outdated and irrelevant the church, that is, the people should work with those in the community around them to show that it is not stuck in the 18th century.
The building I propose is a church and community centre located in the centre of Bath, aiming to interact with those around and become relevant in the lives of the people of Bath throughout the week and not just occasional people on a Sunday. Some precedents are shown below.
